CUSTOMER: E-Mail and Web Security Provider
Business Need: The client in executing their go-to-market strategy needed
a partner portal where their agents and resellers could access current information
including collateral, commission schedules, terms and conditions language, proposal
templates, register leads and check commission payments. Headquarters marketing
needed a central repository for all information that could be accessed via the web;
and sales management needed to monitor reseller channel activity and results. It
was essential that the portal have role based presentation of information so that
the diverse and far reaching channel would have the correct information based on
their location and role in the delivery chain.
Solution and Approach:Using the Portal Infrastructure, Directory, and the
Document Library and Content Manager, Aspen Leaf Software provided a multifunction
Partner Portal, easily maintained by the Marketing Organization. The Document and
Content Management functions drawing on the Virtual File System (VFS) ensured everybody
had instantaneous access to changes in information.
