ASPENWARE’S BEN HOELTING AWARDED MICROSOFT MVP – EIGHT YEARS IN A ROW

JULY 14, 2016

At Aspenware we often refer to our team as experts and top tier developers, and that isn’t just smoke and mirrors, seriously. Our very own Ben Hoelting has been awarded Microsoft MVP for the eighth year in a row, and we’re ready to spread the news and celebrate.

Ben has been an all-star on the Aspenware team for four years now and as lead PM and Operations Manager Stacy Heidt puts it, "Ben is my go-to problem solver and the best Technical Lead I have ever worked with bar none. We have employees who tell us they come to work at Aspenware so they can work with Ben. You won’t find a better mentor and professional."

In his own words, he is a software guy with people skills. His love of software, technology and designing systems that solve real world problems is evident in his work and attitude, every day. He joined the IT industry in 1996 as an intern and since then has built a stellar career as a senior level full stack .NET developer and a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) for Web and Windows .NET 4.0. Ben has served as the technical lead on many of Aspenware’s client projects including Inspirato, Intrawest, Seagate and Pearson, to name a few (that can be named).

Not only is Ben damn good at what he does, he also loves to share his experience and expertise to help build and grow the developer community. This year alone he has traveled across the country to speak at VS Live in Vegas and Boston and will be heading to New Orleans in the fall to speak at this year’s Sitecore Symposium. In addition, he leads three User Groups: South Colorado .NET, Colorado CMS (Content Management Systems) and South Colorado CMS.

It’s no wonder Microsoft has named Ben for the eighth time as a Most Valuable Professional in the categories of Visual Studio and Development Technologies.

So join us in congratulating our all-star Ben Hoelting on his incredible accomplishments! If you’d like to congratulate him in person, mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 3rd and register to attend his CMS Platform Comparisons Panel Discussion.

See you there!
