Ski Areas like Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Bear Valley have long struggled with an archaic and antiquated eStore in which they were reliant on their customers to be able to navigate a complicated purchasing journey online that could properly communicate with their POS system to fulfill orders and update their inventory.
While their current systems were effective for other needs, it was clear that business was being lost through their eCommerce store.
Aspenware worked with JHMR and BV to develop both an out-of-the-box and a full custom solution, rocketing their eCommerce experience to new levels that match their beautiful branded sites.
Utilizing Aspenware’s Unity API and open source NopCommerce we were able to fully integrate into their existing POS system and create a whole new front end and back end experience. Both resorts now have a unified experience between their brand site and eCommerce store, simplified product definitions with dynamic pricing, RFID reload, and so much more all managed in one place.
